In this lighthearted Groundhog Day comedy, Punxsutawney Phil has the easiest job in the world—working just one day a year. Unfortunately, he'd rather stay on the couch watching television than venture outside into the cold. His practical wife, Phyllis, has other ideas. As the two squabble over missing shoes, weather predictions, and whose job it really is, Phyllis discovers that she might be better suited for the spotlight herself.
